The Beechwood Condominium

The Beechwood Condominium is a five story residential low rise building constructed in the 1930s. The building contains 70 condominium units and 2 rental basement apartments along with an attached parking structure with a capacity of 28 parking spaces. The one story parking garage structure encompasses approximately fifty percent of building footprint, at the ground floor level.

O&S Associates was retained by the Condominium Association to review the available Project documentation, survey the exterior building facade, research and evaluate the building’s ability to provide a weather-resistant exterior wall envelope; and develop Façade Repair Options to prevent accumulation of water within the wall assembly, including water damages to the units due to improper or inadequate installation of various wall components.
