The Baridge House Apartment Building
The Baridge House Apartment Building required extensive exterior building façade, balcony and parking garage repairs.
O&S Associates performed a survey of the building façade and garage. Based on the evaluation, O&S developed a repair program, repair drawings and technical specifications and provided periodic observations during construction.
The restoration of the exterior façade repair was comprised of structural concrete repairs to balconies and balcony railings, replacement of through wall flashings on all exterior walls, the replacement of cracked and deteriorated brick masonry, the addition of epoxy grouted masonry ties, tuck-pointing of deteriorated mortar joints, caulking of all windows, cleaning and coating the entire building and installation of temporary sidewalk protection/bridge.
The total cost of the façade repair work was approximately $2,300,000.
