Roswell Park Cancer Institute West Parking Garage
O&S is currently the design professional for design and cost estimating services for a 100-year life, approximately 590-space, 7-story, post-tensioned employee parking garage on an approximately 1.5-acre site located at the 45 Carlton Street, Buffalo, NY. Roswell Park is located on 28-acres in the heart of the 100-acre Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus. Roswell Park campus encompasses 15 research, clinical, and administrative buildings with more than 2.2 million GSF. O&S will provide all the professional and engineering services including architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, phasing drawings, data collection, cost estimating, and all other tasks necessary to complete the project. O&S will also be self-performing elevator design for the garage.
The foundation system is anticipated to be steel H-piles driven to bedrock, which is located at approximately 70 feet. Construction will be cast-in-place, post-tensioned concrete. The garage will receive 480Y/277V, 3Ph, 4W power, Roswell Park IT network data, water service, and natural gas utilities from a building that is located immediately west and adjacent to the site.
