O&S Associates, Inc has provided Architectural, Structural, Roofing, Parking, Mechanical, Lighting, Expert Witness, Exterior Wall, Windows, and Waterproofing Consulting Services for 18 Schools within the Reading School District for a combined construction value of more than $30 Million Dollars since 2005.
The schools range in age from 1922 to the 1960’s, serving a student capacity of more than 15,000 students and a floor area of more than 2 Million Square Feet. O&S began working with the school district to solve leaking issue through two esplanades that had been unsuccessfully repaired several times in recent history.
Since then we have been trusted with the District’s most challenging projects such as:
- Northeast Middle School- Elevator Tower repairs included temporarily supporting the Sheaves
- Glenside Elementary- Emergency Repairs after a partial collapse of the exterior walls
- 10th and Penn Elementary – Heating & Ventilation – this project included correcting cross contamination of the supply air as a result of original construction deficiencies
- Citadel High School– Expert Witness and Parking Garage Repairs – This project include the reconstruction of a 30 year old parking structure and expert witness services to assist in construction claims related to converting a Hospital into a state-of-the-art High School
