Northbridge Apartment Building

The Northbridge Apartment Building required extensive exterior building façade and structural repairs to their attached parking garage.

• O&S Associates performed a survey of the building exterior using swing-stages and developed a repair program for the façade and garage.
• O&S developed repair drawings and technical specifications and provided periodic observations during construction.
• The restoration of the exterior façade repairs was comprised of structural concrete repairs to balconies and balcony railings, replacement of through wall flashings north and south walls, the replacement of cracked and deteriorated brick masonry, the addition of epoxy grouted masonry ties, tuck-pointing of deteriorated mortar joints, caulking of all windows, cleaning and coating the entire building and installation of temporary sidewalk protection/bridge.
