The project consisted of replacing existing curtain wall system with a new blast-resistant curtain wall system and renovating all exterior precast concrete façade elements. The project was performed as a Design-Build Project by Weather Proofing Technologies, Inc. (WTI) of Cleveland, Ohio, and O&S Associates. O&S and WTI performed the field inspections and prepared a detailed cost proposal and scope work. O&S prepared construction drawings and specifications for the selected scope of work.
Work consisted of the following:
- Replacement of existing curtain wall assembly with blast-resistant curtain wall assembly
- Concrete repairs to precast panels
- Repair of penthouse chimney
- Replacement of windows
- Sealing of all joints in precast façade
- Installing new flashing
- Application of a water repellent surface sealer.
