300 East 74th Street Apartment Building

The 37 story, 300 East 74th Street Apartment Building required extensive exterior building façade and balcony repairs.

• O&S Associates performed a survey of the building exterior using swing-stages and developed a repair program for the façade.
• O&S developed repair drawings and technical specifications and provided periodic observations during construction.
• The restoration of the exterior façade repairs was comprised of structural concrete repairs to balconies and balcony railings, the replacement of cracked and deteriorated brick masonry, new waterproofing coating to balcony slabs, tuck-pointing of deteriorated mortar joints and installation of temporary sidewalk protection/bridge.
