Monticello Mews Apartments

O&S served as the Structural Engineer of record for the design of the Monticello Mews Apartments project. The Monticello Mews Apartments project was comprised of three phases of development, each phase including two apartment buildings. Phase 1 included two four-story modular apartment buildings supported on a cast-in-place, post-tensioned concrete podium to allow parking on grade under the building. Phase 2 and 3 each contain two 4-story modular apartment buildings supported on concrete framing at grade.

O&S was responsible for all aspects of the structural design, including shallow spread foundations, cast-in-place concrete columns, post-tensioned cast-in-place concrete slab, and coordination with the geotechnical engineer, modular builder, and architect. O&S contributed and coordinated with the architectural designer and presented schematic-level design drawings that were developed during the design process into bidding and construction documents.
