Architectural Designer/BIM Manager – 5+ Years of Experience

Role at a glance:

The ideal candidate is proficient in Revit, enthusiastic, diligent in their work, well organized with good written and verbal communication skills.

We are seeking an Architectural Designer / BIM Coordinator to join our Philadelphia (Blue Bell) office. Applicants should have a minimum 5 years of design and drafting and design experience with Revit and AutoCAD. Responsibilities will include developing and maintaining BIM standards and providing drafting services for architectural, structural, and MEP designs for new design and restoration projects. Design experience with Sketchup and other 3D rendering programs is also valued. Applicant should have the ability to establish, implement and maintain quality control of workflows, support the project team with technical delivery of digital work product, work collaboratively, and maintain company goals.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of design experience
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University in Architecture
• Experience in parking design projects is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with engineering, architectural, and construction principles
• Self motivated capable of handling multiple simultaneous projects
• Ability to complete tasks within deadlines
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other similar programs
• Experience with BIM up to LOD 300
• Experience with BIM 360. Ability to evaluate clash detection and internal model coordination
• Ability to obtain government security clearance is a plus
