O&S has held long-standing contracts with the University of Pennsylvania including a multi-garage assessment contract to conduct comprehensive building surveys and condition assessments of the Walnut 32 Garage, Walnut 38 Garage, Walnut 40 Garage, Chestnut 34 Garage, Penn Museum Garage, and the Nurse’s Education Building (NEB). Our engineers conducted visual surveys and acoustic impact testing, including chain dragging of the concrete deck surfaces, to identify current facility conditions and deficiencies. We also interviewed garage personnel if they had witnessed any leaks or issues
We then provided the University a comprehensive report that included findings, repair recommendations, and probable construction costs for future repair programs. For the Museum Garage, we have already provided assessment, design, bid, and CA services for its repairs which included but was not limited to waterproofing, LED lighting system, and exterior masonry.
